报告摘要: Strangeon star model has been proposed as the nature of pulsar-like compact stars. This model has passed various observational tests, such as the massive pulsars and the tidal deformability during binary mergers. Pulsar glitch is also a useful probe for studying the interior structure of pulsars. In this talk I will focus on how to understand pulsar glitches in strangeon star model, including the recovery coefficient, the waiting time between two glitches and the recovery process.
报告人简介: Prof. Xiaoyu Lai obtained her Ph.D in Department of Astronomy in Peking University in 2010 and worked as a Post-doc in Peking University and XAO, CAS from 2010 to 2017. Since 2016, she received a professor position in Hubei University of Education.
