报告摘要: The study of Gamma-ray   Bursts has been an active field in astrophysics over the years, which has   undergone a significant boost in interest with the joint detection of   GW170817/GRB 170817A and several new types of observations very recently. In   this talk, I will focus on our recent exploration of the new origins of GRBs,   including the discoveries of a peculiar GRB from magnetar giant flare,  a genuinely short GRB not originating from   a compact star merger, and a genuinely long GRB not originating from a   massive star collapse. Those novel phenomena suggest that our understanding   of GRBs is still far from complete,    and new and thorough investigations of those special events are encouraged   using the upcoming new missions.
报告人简介: 张彬彬,南京大学天文与空间科学学院,副教授,特聘研究员,博士生导师,内华达大学兼职教授,   国家海外高层次引进人才,江苏省双创领军人才,主要从事伽玛射线暴的数据统计和理论研究。共发表 SCI 论文130多篇,包括Science 两篇、   Nature四篇,第一作者Nature子刊三篇等,被引用8600余次, H因子43。
